High Angled Rescue
Service Description
This 5-day course (with pre-course reading) meets the equivalence of the NFPA 1006 Standard. Students will learn how to access victims stranded in a high-angle environment, using rope based rescue systems. Through the use of these various rope recovery systems, students will learn how to retrieve victim(s) that are caught in these situations and relocate them to a safe location. Students will operate as an integral part of a team environment and will be directed and monitored by instructors acting as team leaders. Students will participate in both a written and practical evaluation. Time: 5 days plus pre-course material Cost: $1199+ taxes per participant Travel fees may apply. Please inquire.
