This intensive 8 – hour training course puts the basic theory of confined space rescues into practical, hands-on situations. As the day progresses, the difficulty of the rescue scenario increases. Practical skills covered include the following: · Assessing Hazards · Establishing Hot, Warm and Cold Zones · Emergency Equipment Orientation · Patient Assessments and C-Spine Control · Patient Packaging in a Confined Space · Patient Removal from Confined Space on Stretcher · Patient Removal from Confined Space without Stretcher · Emergency Rescue Plans · Adapting Rescue Plans to Situation · Communication with Rescue Personnel · Rescue Procedures Length: 8 hours Cost: $149.00 + Taxes per person
