This Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus Course is a half-day course that will help you understand: Non-emergency service staff (NFPA 1001, CSA-Z94.4-02, and WorkSafeBC Part 8-Section 32 compliant) Definitions Describe conditions that require the use of respiratory protection equipment Difference between SCBA and Supplied air breathing apparatus (SABA) Identify components of self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) Describe SCBA limitations Donning and doffing SCBA SCBA bottle change out SCBA Failure emergency procedures SCBA accountability Cleaning and maintenance Time: 4 hours Cost: $149+ taxes per participant Travel fees may apply.
